The PSL club has signed a former mine worker

Rogert Nyundu (37) who had given up football to work in the mines was hired on a two-year contract by the PSL brides club. Kruger United of Mpumalanga recently promoted to the Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) after finishing second in the Safa National ABC Motsepe League Play-offs last month in Upington, Northern Cape, signed the famous player from Bloemfontein Celtic and Black Leopards. 

It is said that Vusi Mkhatshwa who is the coach - who announced that he is leaving this club after joining MFC - is back and will continue.  It is said that he is looking for players to strike with. 

Nyundu is given just this contract, he retired for two years from professional football, and went to work in the mines in Mpumalanga.

He confirmed that he has signed for United. "Then I work in the mines, I play in the lower leagues to pass the time. I was shocked by what happened, that's why I decided to continue playing. I signed a two-year contract with an option to extend it for another year. However, this coming season I want to start training courses because I can't

I have played football all my life," said Nyundu.

He said that since they are just in MFC, they will strive to make history by moving up to the DStv Premiership.
